ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Japanese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Kazuyuki Nakane held a meeting with the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Friday.

During the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed cooperation including trade, investment, human resource development, and science & technology.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi highlighted the new opportunities in Pakistan for trade and investment.

The foreign minister said that Pakistan considers Japan as its most important economic friend. He said that we will have to create trade balance between both the Countries.

The Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs extended an invitation to the Foreign Minister of Pakistan to visit Japan.

Earlier last night, the Japanese state minister arrived in Islamabad on a two-day visit to Pakistan.

During his stay in Islamabad, Kazuyuki Nakane will hold meetings with high-level civil and military officials.

Kazuyuki Nakane is the second foreign dignitary after the Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and the first top Japanese official to have visited Pakistan after a new government merged in Islamabad.

Besides Kazuyuki Nakane and Javad Zarif, the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the Chinese State Consular and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will also arrive in Islamabad soon.

Without a shadow of a doubt, we will continue to expose the abuses and sanctimony with which the US is handling the situation. We will not allow the Americans to gag the entire council with their hands in an effort to encourage further continuation of Israel's ruthless operation," he said in a speech at the Security Council.
