NationalCOAS hails Police on Police Martyrs Day

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: While paying glowing tribute to martyred police officials, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed has said that police has rendered great sacrifices in war against terrorism.

“Salute to martyrs the real heroes,” the COAS said in his message on Police Martyrs Day on Saturday.

The COAS said that while all security forces fight terrorists, police has greater role in defeating terrorism.

“We stand with our Police in national effort,” he said.

Earlier, the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan also in his message on Police Martyrs Day paid tributes to the sacrifices rendered by the police personnel for peace and security in the Country.

Imran Khan said that courage and valiance are the hallmark of our security personnel.

The President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shahbaz Sharif also paid tribute to martyred police officials, saying that “On the police martyrs’ day I pay rich tributes to those who rendered supreme sacrifice of their life for the secure & bright future of the nation. A living nation can never forget their heroes. Their sacred blood is a debt on us. My eternal gratitude to their brave families!”
