Tashkent, Uzbekistan: From today, July 15, 2018, Uzbekistan has begun issuance of electronic entry (e.Visa) for tourists.

This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.

Now foreigners will not have to apply to diplomatic missions and consular offices of Uzbekistan abroad for registration of an entry tourist visa.

An electronic visa is issued to a foreign citizen for a single stay in the territory of the Republic for a period of 30 days and is valid for 90 days from the date of its issuance.

The term for processing applications for processing and issuing a visa is two working days, excluding the day the application was filed.
The issued electronic visa is sent to the e-mail address of the foreign citizen, indicated when applying on the official portal of the e-visa.gov.uz system.

The application for processing an electronic visa must be submitted not less than three working days before the planned date of the trip to Uzbekistan.

The amount of the consular fee for processing the application for issuing an electronic entry visa is USD 20.

Payment is carried out electronically through international payment systems.

When passing the border crossing point, the tourist provides an electronic visa in paper or electronic form.
