ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday announced to suspend his political activities in solidarity with the people of Balochistan Mastung’s District, wherein a suicide blast left 128 people including Balochistan Awami Party’s (BAP) Nawabzada Mir Siraj Raisani martyred a day ago.

In a Press Conference at Bilour House in Peshawar wherein he had reached to condole with the family of Haroon Bashir Bilour, Bilawal Bhutto said he had suspended his Jalsa in Malakand today; however, he added, he would go to Malakand and meet the people there.

Bilawal Bhutto said if wouldn’t be appropriate if they held a Jalsa with shoutings and dance on party songs, but at the same, mourning over Mastung blast was being observed.

It is pertinent to mention here that a two-day mourning is being observed across Balochistan on the call of the provincial government over the tragic suicide bombing in Darin Garh area of Mastung District on Friday which resulted in the death of 128 people and injuries to around 200 others.

The Chairman PPP also said restrictions were being created in electioneering. He said if level playing field was not ensured for all political parties, the results would be controversial. He said they would convey their reservations to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

In addition, he said pre-poll rigging was under way, and their supporters were being asked to join a puppet political party.

Meanwhile, the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan would address various rallies at Swabi, Mardan and Taxila today.
