DHAKA, Bangladesh: The Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua visited Bangladesh’s Cox’s Bazar City – which hosts the largest Rohingya Refugee Camp – and assured Rohingya refugees of Pakistan’s support in their hour of misery.

Tehmina Janjua’s visit to Cox’s Bazar and interaction with Rohingya refugees took place as she was in Bangladesh to lead a Pakistani delegation in the 45th OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) meeting being held in Dhaka from May 5-6, 2018.

The visit was organized by the Bangladeshi government for all OIC heads of delegation a day before the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting.

Meanwhile, the OIC’s Assistant Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs held a media interaction at the refugee camp, in which he highlighted the deep concern of OIC with regard to the Rohingya situation and efforts being made by the OIC and the Muslim Ummah to support the refugees from the Rakhine region.
