The preparations for the annual religious gathering in the Federal Capital have been underway for a couple of weeks now, aiming at to make it successful and a source of guidance for Muslims.

The three-day Islamabad Tableeghi Ijtema 2018 will kick off on April 28 (Saturday) after Asar prayer, and will end on April 30 (Monday) with a collective prayer after Fajr prayer.

Tableeghi Ijtema is believed to be the largest religious gathering of Muslims in Islamabad wherein around 300,000 to 400,000 people from the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab attend the Ijtema to listen to prominent religious scholars and seek guidance.

Like each year, Islamabad Tableeghi Ijtema 2018 will also take place at Railway Carriage Factory Ground in I-11/1 Sector.

In the end of each Ijtema, hundreds of religious groups are sent across the Country and abroad for spreading Allah’s teachings to fellow Muslims as a reminder, as well as to non-Muslims.

Meanwhile, Madaris (Religious Seminaries) students and volunteers from Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Kohat, Swat, Nowshera, Peshawar and Mardan are participating in the Ijtema preparations.

Prior to Tableeghi Ijtema (Religious Congregation) in Islamabad, a gathering was also organized in Sukkar (Sindh) from April 5-7.
