SUKKUR, Pakistan: The Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Friday regretted that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was wrongly being dubbed as friendly opposition, and urged the commitment from all political parties for resolving issues.

“Using abusive language is not part of PPP politics,” Khursheed Shah said while addressing a ceremony in Sukkur.

Syed Khursheed Shah said once Pakistan was ahead of Saudi Arabia and South Korea but the Country had sunk deeply into debts. “We have to think, why we are left behind,” he said.

The PPP leader said every year Rs 1400 billion were being spent for debt paying. He said institutions were still present but they didn’t have motivation like in the past.

Commenting on recent arrests and grilling of top Civil Servants like Fawad Hassan Fawad and Ahad Cheema, Khursheed shah said they did not have sympathy for those Civil Servants who didn’t act upon the Court orders.
