LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday took immediate notice of the firing incident at a Sessions Court in Lahore which resulted in deaths of two lawyers.

Earlier in the morning, two Lawyers identified as Rana Owais and Rana Nadeem were killed in an exchange of firing in a Lahore’s Sessions Court.

Reportedly the firing followed harsh wards over a land dispute between two lawyers’ groups outside the Courtroom of Judge Taseerur Rehman. Eventually one of the lawyers Kashif Rajput opened fire which left two lawyers dead.

Meanwhile, the police arrested the Culprit Kashif Rajput.

Taking notice of the firing incident, the Punjab Chief Minister expressed grief and sorrow over the firing incident. He also expressed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families.

Shahbaz Sharif also ordered an inquiry of the incident and summoned report from the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore.
