Islamabad, September 21, 2017: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has taken on board the 3rd batch of its Signature “Summit Program” acquiring 160 top talent young engineers and business graduates from various institutions. This group has

completed the first mega development intervention successfully spreading over 6 weeks at the PTCL Training Staff College, Haripur.

 

PTCL has been endeavoring to bring the best young talent in the company through various induction programs, in pursuit of the objective of cultural transformation. The focus has always been to make PTCL progressive, forward looking and an agile organization for its customers through service excellence. PTCL Summit program aims at building sustainable leadership to fulfill its future HR requirements by inducting top talent from engineering and business institutes across Pakistan and from abroad.

 

The aim of this 6-week long inclusive and arduous development program was to build business acumen and develop leadership competence in the new officers. Specialized workshops and learning sessions were arranged by qualified and well sought after internal and external trainers.

 

Graduation ceremony of this program was held in Haripur which was attended by senior PTCL officials including Dr. Daniel Ritz, President & CEO and Syed Mazhar Hussain, CHRO PTCL. On this occasion, the talented new joiners were presented with an opportunity to show case their knowledge in resolution of a challenging case study, which was given to them as part of their training program.

 

Expressing his views on the occasion, Dr. Daniel Ritz advised the new joiners that they are crucial for the transformation of PTCL, and their efforts will prove to be a cornerstone for the success of the organization. He was confident that this energetic talent will help the company to remain a market leader by exploring new business avenues and improving customer services. He also assured that the Company will provide unmatchable development and growth opportunities to its young officers through systematic and learning based exposure to latest technological platforms and state-of-the-art business practices.
