BEIJING, China: Pakistani Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif will visit China on Friday as the two friendly Countries look to further consolidate their cooperation with regard to development projects especially multi-billion dollar China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
His official visit to Beijing will take place on the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
During his visit, Asif would hold talks with his Chinese Counterpart Wang Yi and other Chinese leaders, the Spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry Geng Shuang said during his regular press briefing in Beijing on Wednesday.
The spokesperson said the discussions would cover all aspects of Pakistan-China bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Geng Shuang said China and Pakistan were all-weather strategic partners, adding, the two sides had seen their relationship growing with sound momentum, frequent high level exchanges and fruitful outcome of practical cooperation.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said the visit of Pakistani Foreign Minister would be another important event between the two friendly Countries which would further help implement the cooperation consensus reached between the two leaders.
The spokesperson said the deep and practical cooperation centered on the CPEC, and promoted coordination and communication on international and regional affairs.
