NewsPanama verdict caused humiliation for Pakistan in World: Nawaz Sharif

MURIDKE, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the Supreme Court’s verdict in Panama Papers Case caused humiliation for Pakistan in the world, adding that people have rejected the verdict.

“There is no evidence of corruption against me,” Nawaz Sharif said while addressing a public gathering in Muridke as on its fourth day his homecoming rally was about to reach the final destination Lahore on Saturday.

Nawaz Sharif said that he didn’t receive any salary from his son, and how can someone disqualify him on receiving money from his son. He said that they were establishing roads network but he was disqualified over not receiving money.

“I was not involved in any corruption,” the disqualified prime minister re-asserted.

The former prime minister also said that he had never seen such a huge and enthusiastic gathering in Muridke. He asked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers need not to worry, and added that they were progressing.

Nawaz also pledged his loyalty to the public and said that he would never betray them.

Earlier, Nawaz Sharif’s rally left for Lahore after big show in Gujranwala. Several Camps had also been formed all along the way in Kamoke, Sadhoki, Muridke, Kala Shah Kaku and Ferozwala.

The last stop of the cavalcade will be Data Darbar in Lahore where Nawaz Sharif will pay his visit.

Meanwhile, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Muhammad Asif departed from Sialkot with a huge gathering of PML-N workers and supporters to join the mammoth rally of Nawaz Sharif.

Workers, supporters and leaders of the PML-N gathered at the PML-N House in Sialkot and left to join the rally at Kamoke.
