“Last reported event from South Asia”

Sitting on her cotton netted Charpai in her courtyard, 54 year old widow Jannat Bibi is thinking she has to fix too many things within next two months before the day of marriage of her daughter. She cannot wait his only son to arrive from Karachi where he works in a hotel. Her son cannot take too many leaves without pay because he wishes to save every rupee he could earn for the marriage of his sister.

She stands up from her Charpai to open door of her two-room muddy home after hearing knocking at the door. Within next five second— everything is changed and Jannat Bibi is no more alive as she is blown up along with door of her house when a mortar shell fired by Indian Army from their positions in occupied Kashmir hits her house situated near Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Kashmir.

Her son cannot reach his village for her funeral and burial because all roads to her village are closed down due to constant unprovoked firing resorted by Indian soldiers in this beautiful but dangerous valley.

This is not a story of one Jannat Bibi or one house under attack rather this unfortunate incident is one of several incidents taking place almost every week in villages of Azad Kashmir situated at LoC.

According to available data collected by this writer, more than 11 innocent civilians including women, children and men have been martyred and around 70 injured this year (January 2017 to June 2017) in 415 border violation incidents committed by Indian forces at LoC and at working boundary.

This is understood that India plans to trap Pakistan into a full fledged war but Islamabad is restraining the situation; avoiding war with India to maintain peace in the region but for how long Pakistan can avoid constant provocation imposed by Indian Army?

Indian Army since last May is provoking Pakistan trying to engage Pakistan into war because of many reasons. One of the reasons is situation that emerged after martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani that ignited a fire that is spreading to every corner of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). “We will snatch Freedom” is the only slogan one can hear in IOK raised by 9th grade school going girls as well as 90 year old women. Now freedom fight in IOK is led by every man, woman and child of occupied valley.

Regional observers believe that facing total failure in snubbing freedom movement in IOK, India will try to launch limited war on Pakistan to divert attention of world from genocide it is committing in IOK. Thousands of innocent Kashmiris have been martyred in last one year by over half million Indian soldiers stationed in IOK.

Method of snatching eyesight of thousands of Kashmiris by using pellet guns has apparently failed to snatch dreams for freedom from the minds of Kashmiri youth. Losing Kashmir is nightmare for Indian leadership while freedom wave is already reaching seven sister states of northeastern India.

Curfews are being clamped in several parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura but Indian media is censoring news about grave situation that Indian Army is facing in these states. Maoists are on rampage in many areas where so-called insurgency is increasing.

Sandwiched between uprisings in seven sister states and occupied Kashmir valley, Indian Army has a workable option to launch aggressive campaign on LoC and working boundary against Pakistan to shun moral pressure off that Indian Army is facing from within India due to extreme brutalities it is committing in IOK and in seven sister states. Raping women in seven sister states is considered as a “norm” for Indian soldiers to terrify and try to snub freedom fighters in seven sister states.

Indian frustration is mounting because its terror network operating in Pakistan was exposed and compromised after the arrest of RAW spy Kulbhushan Jadhav in Balochistan and also because operation Zarb-e-Azb defeated Fourth Generation Warfare that India launched against Pakistan in early 2006 through creating Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Pakistani nation stood against radical narrative that was being used for Fourth Generation Warfare and Pakistan Army flushed out terrorists from tribal areas through operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Losing Occupied Kashmir, rising incidents of attacks on Indian soldiers in seven sister states, arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav and success of operation Zerb-e-Azb against 4th Generation Warfare—— is it not too much for India to digest?

India is not only losing at home ground rather it faced a series of diplomatic defeats as well.

China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was launched with a direct investment worth of 46$ billion. Now this project is attracting 72$ billion direct investment opportunities.

New Delhi-Kabul nexus worked well to defame Pakistan in past by blaming Pakistan for everything that went wrong in Afghanistan. However, sharp criticism faced by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani from heads of central Asian States during Astana SCO Summit should be enough to understand that all regional states are holding Kabul responsible for instability in Afghanistan.  Now, President Ashraf Ghani is ready to reactivate Quadrilateral Coordination Group (QCG) mechanism that has China, United States, Afghanistan and Pakistan as four main stakeholders of peace initiative; taking India out of Afghan peace process.

India with the active support of United States tried to keep Pakistan away from Afghan peace process by using Heart of Asia format in past however it did not work as ground realities were different then what India, Afghanistan and United States were trying to tell the world.

There are reports that China is considering withdrawing its investments from Afghanistan if peace initiative is not being placed under QCG format without further delay.

Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is raising voice for Kashmiris at international forum and UN is also awaking from slumber (but it may take several more years for UN to take some potent action against Indian brutalities being committed in IOK).

International human rights organisations are also writing reports that India has already crossed red line in OIK and Pakistani diplomacy is successfully attracting international forums.

A tiny lady from Islamabad has proven herself taller than any Indian diplomat in UN. She is fighting against Indian diplomacy like a multi-handed Durga Devi  —Dr Maleeha Lodhi has become a nightmare for Indian strategists and diplomats. Maleeha Lodhi who is Pakistan’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York is the warrior combating evil Indian designs threatening peace in the region. She has become the fierce form of the protective mother for Kashmiris.

Pakistan is progressing with every passing day after it won over 4th generation warfare but Indian hawks can take risk to launch full-fledged war over Pakistan to destabilise Islamabad while forgetting the fact that beginning of any limited or full-fledged war in nuclear loaded region would be the “last reported event from South Asia”.
