ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Navy Ship ‘ZULFIQUAR’ with embarked helicopter (Alouette) recently undertook goodwill cum training visit of Singapore and participated in Republic of Singapore Navy’s (RSN) 50th anniversary celebrations.

During stay at Singapore port, ship actively participated in International Maritime Review (IMR) 2017, International Maritime Defence Exhibition Asia (IMDEX) 2017 and Maritime Information Sharing Exercise 2017, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

Upon arrival off Singapore, Pakistan Navy warship was welcomed at sea by Republic of Singapore Navy Ship GALLANT and after anchoring off Changi Naval Base, ship was warmly received by Defence Attache of Pakistan and Singapore Navy officials.

The Commander Pakistan Fleet Vice Admiral Kaleem Shoukat along with Commanding Officer attended various events in connection with RSN 50th anniversary celebrations which beside others included Opening ceremony of IMDEX Asia-17 and International Maritime Security Conference.
