RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The German Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan Ambassador Sabine Sparwasser held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

In a press release, the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said that the meeting was held at the army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Thursday.German Special Representative for Pakistan-Afghanistan Ambassador Sabine Sparwasser and COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa

The ISPR said that two dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest including regional security issues with particular emphasis on Pak-Afghan border management during the meeting.

The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan army’s contributions towards regional peace and stability, the ISPR said.
