RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The German Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan Ambassador Sabine Sparwasser held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
In a press release, the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said that the meeting was held at the army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
The ISPR said that two dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest including regional security issues with particular emphasis on Pak-Afghan border management during the meeting.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan army’s contributions towards regional peace and stability, the ISPR said.
