With brilliant all-round performance with the bat and bowl, Pakistan defeated the ICC T20 World Champion West Indies in 4th T20 International by 7 wickets at Port of Spain in Trinidad on Sunday, winning the four-match series 3-1.

Pakistan brought in Rumman Raees for Sohail Tanvir and decided to bowl first in last T20 against West Indies.

The bowlers did a great job and restricted West Indies to 124 runs at the end of 20 overs. Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan bagged 2 wickets each while Wahab Riaz, Imad Wasim and Rumman Raees took one each.

For West Indies, the Wicket Keeper batsman Chadwick Walton scored 40 runs with 4 sixes whereas the Captain Carlos Brathwaite scored 37 with 2 sixes.

Unlike previous three T20s, Pakistan had a better start with the bat in last game and lost its first wicket on 40 runs when Kamran Akmal was caught by Kesrick Williams off Marlon Samuels’ ball. He scored 20 runs.

Later Ahmed Shahzad and Babar Azam established a 70-run partnership for second wicket prior to the dismissal of former on 53 runs. Soon after, Babar Azam also lost his wicket on 38 runs.

In the end, Pakistan reached the target in 19.0 over for the loss of 3 wickets with Shoaib Malik and Sarfraz Ahmed at the crease. They scored unbeaten 9 and 3 runs respectively.

Hasan Ali was declared Man of the Match whereas Shadab Khan earned the Man of the Series award.

With the victory in 4th and final match, Pakistan also won the T20 series 3-1. Its Babar Azam remained the highest scorer with 137 runs while Shadab Khan was the highest wicket taker with 10 wickets.
