NewsMusharraf is being relaunched?

Karachi, Pakistan: Political circles in Karachi claim that former President Gen ® Musharraf is being relaunched by American establishment.

“He will appear in a series of television shows, will hold video public meetings while living in his London Apartment that was a gift to him from the Saudi royal family. He will possibly meet Pakistanis in different gulf countries in coming months before landing in Pakistani politics by last quarter of year 2017”, claim political circles in Karachi.

However, these political circles fail to explain how and why American establishment would relaunch Musharraf after his political career was miserably failed?

Musharraf tried to camp politically in Karachi in past but he had to run away from country due to several cases against him including the murder case of Chief Minister Baluchistan Sardar Akbar Bugti.

Political circles are of the view that former general is trying to attract support of Pakistani establishment by bashing India in private television channels through his “home to air” interviews.

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) that runs federal government in Pakistan believes that Gen ® Musharraf was given safe exit by former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif with a commitment that he would not back to country till the end of tenure of Gen ® Raheel Sharif.

Sources in his political party “All Pakistan Muslim League” say that an impressive media campaign is being designed with the help of foreign media consultants  for relaunching of All Pakistan Muslim League and his chief Gen ® Musharraf.

Gen ® Musharraf who promoted Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) during his tenure as (former) President of Pakistan also tried to reach a deal with MQM London last year before MQM London Chief Altaf Hussian fell in hot waters due to his aggressive anti-Pakistan speeches. However, deal with MQM London is not on card now but MQM Pakistan and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) can be two components those can share their vote bank with Musharraf in General Elections of 2018.
