ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Office Sartaj Aziz on Friday told the Senate that the process had been started to prosecute the detained Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent Kulbhushan Yadav in Pakistani courts.
“We have prepared an FIR and a case in the process of registration to prosecute Indian state actor for involvement in subversive and terrorist activities in Pakistan,” Sartaj Aziz told the Upper House during the Question Hour.
Sartaj Aziz categorically ruled out possibility of handing over Kulbhushan Yadav to India.
The advisor also told the Senate that a list of questions had also been handed over to India to seek more information from them in the light of the statements of Kulbhushan Yadav. He said that the purpose of sharing dossiers with the United Nations was to prove the direct and indirect Indian intervention in Pakistan.
The advisor said that our stance in this regard was also being acknowledged at the international level.
Kulbhushan Yadav was arrested in Balochistan last year on charges of spying and stoking terrorism and sectarianism in Pakistan.
It is also worth mentioning that Pakistan also submitted dossiers with the United Nations on the basis of the confessional statement of Kulbhushan Yadav.
