According to investigating cell, Rana Ishrat was deputed in special Anti-volatile Cell of Karachi police and he is a Talib and consecutively visiting Khyber Agency and he during investigation confirmed that he killed 5 of his colleagues who were trying to arrest Taliban in Karachi.
According to sources, he informed investigators that there are lot of policemen who are Talib or they support Taliban in Karachi. He also claimed that around 100 policemen also belong to Tehrik-i-Taliban in Khyber Pukhtun Khawa police ranks and a there are also in Punjab police.
