Over two-month long England tour went through ups and downs for Pakistan as it equaled the four-match Test series 2-2 which eventually helped it seize the number one position in ICC Test rankings. But the following five-match one day international (ODI) series once again exposed weaknesses in Pakistan’s batting as well as bowling in the shorter format of the game.

England won the ODI series in which Pakistan only managed to secure one victory at Cardiff.

However unlike the past, luckily Pakistan team didn’t indulge in any controversy in the United Kingdom and the difficult tour came to an end in a proper manner.
