BIRMINGHAM, United Kingdom: The third Investec Test between Pakistan and England seem to be destined more towards ending in a draw; however, England can steal the show if they manage to bowl out Pakistan on Sunday.
England has already taken the lead of 311 runs with 5 wickets in hands. It seems that England will add a few more runs in the total tomorrow morning before the Captain Alastair Cook announces declaration, making it harder for Pakistan to reach the target.
However considering the pitch which is really flat and has not been offering much to the bowlers since the first day, the match will more likely end without yielding any result.
So far England have scored 414 runs for 5 while Jonny Bairstow and Moeen Ali are occupying the crease with 82 and 60 runs respectively.
Earlier on Saturday morning, England resumed their second innings from 120 runs but after having added 6 runs to the total, both the openers Cook and Alex Hales got out. Later Joe Root, James Vince, and Gary Balance also lost their wickets.
Except Vince and Balance, all the English batsmen, who have batted so far, scored individual 50s.
From Pakistan, Muhammad Amir and Yasir Shah succeeded to take 2 wickets each. Sohail Khan also picked up one wicket.
