LAHORE, Pakistan: Punjab School Education Department on Wednesday lifted ban on the transfer and posting of principals, head masters/mistresses, subject specialists and teachers of different grades.

According to the notification, transfers and postings will be made under the Transfer Policy 2013.

The teaching staff including SST, SSE, EST, PST and ESE may file applications for transfer till August 13 while the department would issue orders from August 24 to 27 after scrutiny. They will be bound to join the new office from August 27 to 31.

Similarly, the senior cadre staff including principals, headmasters/mistresses, senior head masters/mistresses and subject specialists may file applications from August 19 to September 5.

The department will carry out the scrutiny of merit list from September 5 to 12.

The transfer/posting orders will be issued from September 13 to 20 while they would be required to join the new posting till September 28.
