MIRPUR (AJK), Pakistan: Azad Jammu & Kashmir Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Mirpur on Monday announced the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-II (Composite) Examination (Annual-2016) held under the auspices of AJK BISE.

Qaiser Liaquat s/o Liaquat Ali, (Role No. 126916) of the private sector New Age Scholars Science College Sehensa Kotli (AJK), secured first position in entire Board in the examination by securing 1076 marks out of total of 1100 marks, Chairman AJK BISE Professor Zaheer Ahmed Chaudhry announced at a special ceremony held here Monday morning to announce the results of the exam.

Similarly Ms. Reheema Amin d/o Muhammad Amin Chaudhary (Role No. 102454) of Pak Kashmir Institute of Computer Sciences, Mirpur and Ms. Momina Taqdees Gakhar (Role No. 101067) of Read Foundation School Hattiyan Bala Muzaffarabad respectively secured 2nd and 3rd positions in the entire board by obtaining 1066 and 1063 marks out of a total of 1100 marks respectively, he added.

The overall results of the annual Matriculation (Part II) Composite Examination 2016 is also available on the website of the AJK BISE. The Boards website address is: www.ajkbise.net.

Besides, the candidates can also check their result with detail marks on mobile phone through SMS except WARID network by going through the following method:  AJK – space – Roll No, and send to 5050.

While unveiling the salient features of the results, Controller Examination (Schools) AJK BISE Chaudhry Mahmood Ahmed Raza stated that a total of 62284 candidates out of a total of 63056 candidates appeared in the examination. Out of those appeared in the examination a total of 41287 candidates were declared successful.

Thus the overall result of the entire Board remained 66.29 percent. The overall result of regular candidates remained 80.47 percent – whereas the overall result of private candidates remained 37.63 percent.

Private-sector schools and colleges established  the records of their exceptional successes as compared to their contemporaries in the public sector in the Secondary School Certificate  Part-II (Composite) Examination  (Annual-2016), held under the auspices of AJK Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpur, the Controller Examination told on this occasion.

Earlier the AJK BISE formally unveiled the names of top 20 positions holding students, both male and female, appeared in the examination.

The boy student stayed atop as he secured first position in entire AJK besides among all the top 20 positions in the results of the examination.

The Chairman AJK BISE Prof. Zaheer Ahmed Chaudhry was the chief guest at the ceremony who unveiled the names of the first top three positions holding students – belonging to various private sector educational institutions in AJK.

Secretary AJK Professor Mirza Shahid Munir Jiraal highlighted the salient features of the fool proof examination system conducted by the Board.

The preliminary analyses of the overall results spoke of the unprecedented excellent performance of the private-sector colleges as compared to those running in the public sector across Azad Jammu Kashmir – as only 2 public sector institutions – one each in Sudhanoti and Bagh districts, secured a total of three positions out of first top 20 positions, announced by the AJK BISE on this occasion.
