ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that there will be no loadshedding during Sehar and Iftar timings in Ramazan.

While talking to media, he said that despite severe heat, there is no unannounced loadshedding in the country.

The minister said that electricity shortfall has reduced to 4,000 watts.

Khawaja Asif said that the government has closed some plants that produce expensive electricity which can also be operationalized if a need arises.

The minister said that there are hundreds of feeders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where zero load shedding is being observed.
