KARACHI, Pakistan: Four-day anti-polio campaign will begin from May 24 in all 188 Union Councils of Karachi during which over 2.2 million children will be administered anti-polio drops.

In this regard, Karachi Commissioner Syed Asif Haider Shah presided over a meeting in Karachi on Friday to review the arrangements made for upcoming anti-polio campaign.

The meeting was attended by all Deputy Commissioners, all Town Health Officers, Police, Rangers, representatives of World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and others.

The meeting was informed that around 6000 teams have been formed for the drive.

The Commissioner appealed to the parents to cooperate with anti-polio teams.
