ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: New weather system is likely to enter Pakistan Tuesday evening that would help break the current closed weather spell in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Met office forecast.

According to a private news channel, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) stated that a westerly wave is likely to strike upper and central parts of Pakistan.

Karachi will remain partly cloudy with temperature ranging between 34C to 36C on Tuesday. Dust storms and thunderstorms are expected at different places of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore and Faisalabad divisions) from Tuesday to Sunday.

Furthermore, rain and thunderstorms with gusty winds are also expected in FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir this week.

Same is also expected at a few places in southern Punjab (Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur divisions), northeastern Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob,Kalat and Sibbi divisions) and upper Sindh (Sukkur and Larkana divisions) from Tuesday to Friday.
