BANGALORE, India: Bangladesh won the toss and asked India to bat first in a group 2 match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday.
It is a must win game for India if it has to qualify for the semifinals round. However, Bangladesh has already been forced to exit after it lost both of its previous matches.
India didn’t have a good start in the tournament and lost its opening T20 game against New Zealand. But it came back strongly and defeated Pakistan in the next game in Kolkata.
On the other hand, Bangladesh did not succeed to register its first win yet in the event and lost both matches against Pakistan and Australia.

Earlier in today’s first match of group 1 played at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi, England beat Afghanistan by 15 runs.
While batting first England scored 142 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Afghanistan could score 127 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
