DHAKA, Bangladesh: Pakistan will take on United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Monday with hope to register its first victory in T20 Asia Cup 2016.
Both the sides are in the bottom of the points table but Pakistan is highly expected to improve its position by sealing a win against UAE.
So far UAE has played its two matches against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the tournament but lost both. Likewise, Pakistan also lost to India by five wickets in its opening game on February 27.
Pakistan and UAE have never played a T20 match against each other; therefore, it will be the first time that the two sides will meet each other in the shortest form of the game.

Earlier on Sunday night, Asia Cup 2016 witnessed the first major upset when Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 23 runs.
While batting first, Bangladesh set a target of 148 runs in 20 overs but Sri Lanka could score only 124 runs in the allotted overs.
