Education0.4 million children to be enrolled in Balochistan schools

QUETTA, Pakistan: The Education Department is going to launch campaign to ensure enrolment of 0.4 million new children in schools in all districts of Balochistan.

This was said by Provincial Minister for Education Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal who was talking to journalists, here. He said “we are going to launch admission campaign to ensure enrolment of 0.4 million new children at schools across the province”.

He said that committees comprising officials of Education Department and the district management had been formed to supervise the campaign. “Presently, 1.3 million children are enrolled at schools and 1.2 million children are still out of school,” he said.

In reply to a question, he said that no political interference would be made into the work of Judicial Commission formed to probe into female student, Saqiba Kakar suicide case. He said that Balochistan has 12,509 schools and adequate number of teachers.
