ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued a list of 63 highly wanted criminals involved in heinous crime of Human Trafficking.

Talking to APP on Wednesday, FIA official said Agency has chalked out a comprehensive strategy to launch crackdown against criminals involved in Human Trafficking.

He said FIA has issued a list of most wanted criminals with names, photographs, respective police station and addresses where they reside to receive proper information from the general public and different other sources.

He said on the conditions of anonymity, most wanted criminals belong to different area of the country including Attock, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Jehlum,Sailkot, Gujranawala, Mandi Bahauddin, Rahim Yar Khan, Toba Teksingh, Gujrat, Gujjar Khan, Karachi, Sahiwal, Chawakal, Mirpur Azad Jummu Kashmi, Islamabad, Jhang, Quetta and Sargodha. However, the list does not carry any name from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He sought help of general public saying they should cooperate with law enforcement agencies for managing earlier arrest of most wanted criminals.

He said a control room has been established at FIA Head Quarters, Islamabad for passing on relevant information about these most wanted criminals on Telephone number 051-9260941.

He said that in 2014-15, FIA arrested 46 most wanted criminals and 1236 proclaimed offenders involved in human smuggling and are being tried under in various courts of law.
