QUETTA, Pakistan: The spokesman of the Balochistan government paying rich tributes to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for launching National Health Insurance Programme said that it would benefit over 3.2 million people in the province.
In an interview with APP here, Balochistan government’s spokesman Anwar-ul-Haque Kakar said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has presented a gift to the nation by introducing and launching National Health Insurance Programme on the occasion of new year.
He said that it was first time in the country’s history that a government had allocated Rs 9 billion for health insurance programme.
“Pakistan Muslim League-N government had fulfilled another promise made in the party manifesto,” he said.
He suggested that National Health Insurance Card should be given to people, having monthly income lesser than Rs 6,000.
