26% of Pakistan’s population stands vaccinated against COVID

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In Pakistan, 26 percent of the total population and 39 percent of the eligible population have been vaccinated against COVID-19, says the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

In the last 24 hours, 1,245,058 people were administered the COVID-19 vaccines throughout the Country.

In total, 138,365,328 people have been vaccinated to date in the Country. Out of them, 59,361,468 people have been fully vaccinated while 86,968,178 people have been administered the first dose.

Meanwhile, 277 more people contracted the virus and 14 died of it in the last 24 hours across the Country.



The NCOC’s statistics showed that the COVID-19 positivity ratio stood at 0.66 percent on December 16.

To date, a total of 1,290,491 Coronavirus Cases and 28,863 deaths have been recorded in the Country since the beginning.

While with a 97.0 percent ratio, 1,252,157 COVID patients have recuperated now.
