LAHORE, Pakistan: The whole nation will pay homage to the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar on its first anniversary being observed on Wednesday (December 16) with a renewed pledge to fight terrorism collectively to purge the country of terrorism.

He said that main function in this regard would be held in Town Hall.  He said, siren and national anthem would be played on the day.

The Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has already directed the respective district administrations to hold functions for commemorating the sacrifices of martyrs of Army Public School throughout the province.

“We cannot forget sacrifices of these innocent children,” he said, adding they would not take rest until the elimination of last terrorist from the motherland.

It was on this day last year when a group of terrorists attacked the Army Public School in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Capital and martyred nearly 150 people including 132 students of the school.

Meanwhile, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new song to commemorate the APS Peshawar traged.

The hardships faced by the grieving families have also been highlighted in the song, especially the scenes featuring parents of martyred kids will leave everyone in tears.
