DAMASCUS: At least 19 persons were killed and four others injured when a roadside bomb targeted a bus in Syria’s central Homs province on Thursday, an official said.
The explosion took place in the village of Jbourin which is predominantly Alawite, a minority sect to which President Bashar al-Assad belongs, but it also has Christians and Sunnis.
