Zarb-e-Azb: Security forces kill nine more militants in Khyber agency

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The security forces carried out a fresh operation on Friday in Bara area of Khyber agency, and killed at least nine militants as well as injured 10 others.

   

The media reports said citing senior security sources that the main aim of the operation was to clear Khyber from Bara until the border of Tirah valley.

On Thursday, at least 21 militants were killed in airstrikes carried out by the security forces in parts of Tirah valley of Khyber agency, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

These are part of the ongoing military operation named Zarb-e-Azb, initiated on June 15 against anti-state militants hiding in the tribal areas.
