Two Soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyred in an attack by terrorists in Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

The ISPR said that terrorists fired on a military convoy in Hassan Khel.

Own troops initiated a prompt response, effectively engaged and killed three terrorists who had remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

However, during the intense exchange of fire, Lance Naik Muhammad Pannah of Pakistan Army (age 30 years, resident of Jaffarabad District) and Sepoy Shamas Ullah of Frontier Constabulary (age 36 years, resident of South Waziristan District) having fought gallantly embraced Shahadat.

The ISPR said that sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
