The security forces have killed a terrorist in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan District on Tuesday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement, the ISPR said that terrorist Muhammad Sohail was sent to hell when an intensive exchange of fire took place between own troops and terrorists during the conduct of operation in DI Khan.

The ISPR said that the killed terrorist remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the law enforcement agencies as well as target killings of innocent civilians.

It added that the sanitization operation is being conducted to wipe out any other terrorist found in the area.

The locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
