Six militants killed as airstrikes carried out in Khyber agency

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The fighter jets bombed militant hideouts in Tirah Valley of Khyber agency on Wednesday morning, killing at least six militants.

The security sources said that airstrikes were carried out in various parts of the Kokikhel area in Tirah Valley, resultantly a number of militant hideouts were destroyed in the shelling.

The strikes are part of the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb which was launched on June 15 against the militants hiding in the North Waziristan tribal region.
