RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Four terrorists were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted by the security forces in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR said that on reported presence of terrorists, the security forces conducted an IBO in Panjgur district of Balochistan province on the night of April 5/6, 2024.

During the conduct of operation, after intense fire exchange, two terrorists including Terrorist Asad @ Hasrat were sent to hell.

The security forces also recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives from the terrorists.

The ISPR said that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians in the area.

It said that the security forces of Pakistan remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan.

Separately, in another operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district on April 6, troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which two terrorists were sent to hell.

The ISPR said that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from them.

It said that the sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as security forces are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism.
