An exchange of fire took place between terrorists and security forces in Esham area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The ISPR said that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.

It said that the incident re-vindicates Pakistan Army’s resolve to have zero tolerance for terrorism in Pakistan and reaffirms its determination to take on any and all entities that resort to violence.
