RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: One Pakistan Army Soldier embraced martyrdom in a terrorists attack in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province late last night, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ISPR said that terrorists fired at a military post in Thall tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu district late last night.

The ISPR said that Pakistan Army troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists.

However, during the exchange of fire with terrorists, 26-year-old Sepoy Waqas, a resident of Mansehra, embraced martyrdom.

The ISPR said that the area clearance is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
