RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Four Frontier Corps (FC) Soldiers including a Junior Commissioned Officer embraced martyrdom in an attack by terrorists in Balochistan, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a statement on Monday, the ISPR said that terrorists targeted the Frontier Corps troops, employed for security of Marget Mines on road the Marget-Quetta using an improvised explosive device.
Resultantly, four brave soldiers including a Junior Commissioned Officer of FC Balochistan embraced Shahadat.
The martyred soldiers included Subedar Sardar All Khan, a resident of Village Wanda Lungar Kel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat District, Sepoy Musaddaf Hussain, a resident of Chak 272 EB in Punjab’s Vehari District, Sepoy Muhammad Anwar, a resident of Wanda Talgi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan District, and Sepoy Awais Khan, a resident of Village Bandal in Azad Kashmir’s Neelum District.
The ISPR said that a large-scale area sanitization operation by the FC Balochistan to hunt the terrorists is underway.
It said that such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed cannot sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan.
The ISPR said that the security forces are determined to neutralize their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives.
