SIALKOT: The federal minister for defence Khawaja Asif has said that the military operation Zarb-e-Azb against militants in the North Waziristan tribal region will continue till complete elimination of terrorism, adding that any announcement regarding timeframe to end the operation is not possible at the moment.

Talking to the media in Sialkot, the minister said that the federal government will take all mainstream political parties into confidence on the issue of eradication of terrorism and rehabilitation of the internally displaced persons from North Waziristan agency.

The defence minister said that the whole nation stands united against terrorism.

Later, addressing party workers, the defence minister said that the armed forces are fully capable to uproot terrorism.
