RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Four terrorists were killed in two separate Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) conducted by the security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur and Khyber districts on June 27, 2023.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday the during the conduct of operation in Inayat Qilla area of Bajaur district, intense fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists, resulting in killing of three terrorists including terrorist commander Shafi.

The ISPR said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as killing of innocent citizens.

The media wing of Pakistan military said that sanitization of the area was being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.

It said that locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.

Separately, one terrorist was sent to hell while another three were injured after intense fire exchange during an IBO in Tirah area of Khyber district.

Weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist.

The sanitization of the area was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

The ISPR said that the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
