The Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Hulmerg area of Balochistan’s Kharan district and killed two terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement on Friday, the ISPR said that the killed terrorists were involved in various acts of violence/terrorism against innocent civilians as well as the security forces.

The ISPR said that a significant quantity of arms/ammunition was recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

However, during the exchange of fire with terrorists, one brave soldier of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, Sepoy Fida Ur Rehman who was a resident of Mastuj/Chitral, embraced shahadat.

The ISPR said that security forces are fully committed to defend the motherland against the nefarious designs of such inimical elements and shall protect the hard-earned peace and stability in Balochistan even at any cost.
