ISLAMABAD: A total of 400 terrorists have so far been killed during the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb in the North Waziristan tribal region while 20 soldiers have embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, the federal minister for defence Khawaja Asif said in an interview.

The defence minister said that he cannot give any timeframe for the completion of the operation. However, efforts will be made to finish it as early as possible.

Khawaja Asif said that the federal government will not rest until the elimination last terrorist from the country.

In addition, he said that the government will take main political parties into confidence for eradication of terrorism and timely return and rehabilitation of the displaced people.
