Zarb-e-Azb: 23 militants killed in aerial strikes at North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: At least 23 militants were killed in precise aerial attacks which were carried out by the security forces on the militant hideouts in the North Waziristan tribal region on Thursday as a part of the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb.

   

In a statement, the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said that the strikes were carried out in Zerom, Ismail, Khel and Dattakhel areas of North Waziristan.

Earlier, speaking to soldiers at the concluding ceremony of physical agility and combat efficiency system championship at Shinkiari, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif lauded soldiers of all ranks for their unflinching resolve in the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb against the militants.
