Zara Shahjahan to showcase new line of luxury prêt at Telenor Pakistan Fashion Week SS 2015

LAHORE, Pakistan: The designer Zara Shahjahan is set to showcase a new line of luxury prêt at Telenor Pakistan Fashion Week SS 2015 on April 3, 2015.

This marks the first time that Zara Shahjahan will be participating at the prestigious fashion platform.

Zara Shahjahan’s Telenor Pakistan Fashion Week SS 2015 collection is an ode to free spirited fashion and the charm of pretty florals paired with ethnic embroideries. The collection features dynamic prints which are a whimsical union of hand painted florals and tribal accents based in a pastel colour palette. Expect Western boho silhouettes, loose flared cuts in pants, cropped jackets and skirts.

The collection features 16 outfits, which have been meticulously embellished through traditional embroidery for added drama to the line’s modern silhouettes. The label’s luxury pret collection celebrates fashion, florals and all that’s fun.

A classic Zara Shahjahan look is simple, beautiful and always in vogue. Her design philosophy is to make clothes relating to a feeling – a feeling, which is an ode of individuality, femininity and sophistication. Zara Shahjahan is a graduate from the National College of Arts and has built a niche clientele that understands and has the ability to appreciate design and pattern making.

With a background in miniature painting, she is Pakistan’s first designer who has the expertise to make her own motifs.

The label’s Telenor Pakistan Fashion Week SS 2015 collection will be able for retail at the brand’s flagship store at Galleria, Lahore and the brand’s Karachi store on Main Bokhari Commercial after the conclusion of the fashion event.
