Yamaha Motor Pakistan (YMPK) is a 100% subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. YMPK is the sole manufacturer and distributor of Yamaha Brand Motorcycles in Pakistan, established in Mar 2013. Since its inception, Yamaha has released four models. The most notable feature about Yamaha bikes is that, unlike Honda, all models house a 125cc engine. Today we decided to review the Yamaha YBZ-DX 2023.

Overview
Yamaha YBZ-DX 2023 was designed in a straightforward and rugged design to cache into the conventional market of family men. YBZ-DX comes with a diamond-type frame with a sleek but standard design. The powerful shocks and a wide seat all contribute to a comfortable ride. It comes with a capacitor discharge ignition (CDI), a kick starter,, and an electric starter system. Its alloy rims and disc brakes give it more stability on urban roads. The short handle also provides ease in commuting in heavy traffic and on narrow paths. Yamaha YBZ-DX 2023 is priced at PKR 327,000.

The Yamaha YBZ-DX 2023 has a single-cylinder, 2-valve, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC engine. Its displacement is 124cm3, producing 10.7 horsepower @ 7500 RPM and 10.4Nm of torque @ 6500 RPM. The YBZ-DX has a compression ratio of 10:01 and a constant mesh 5-speed transmission. The total dry weight of the YBZ-DX is 118 kg.
It has a seat height of 770 mm, and its overall dimensions are 1980 mm x 735 mm x 1045 mm. The ground clearance of YB 125Z-DX is 150 mm, and its wheelbase is 1285 mm. The fuel tank has a capacity of 13 litres. It has an approximate mileage of 31 km/l, making it great for daily use. Yamaha YBZ-DX has a top speed of 100km/h.
Features
YBZ-DX houses 18-inch alloy rims with front wheel disc brakes. The rear suspension is adjustable, and unlike Yamaha’s other models, all gear shifts are forward. The speedometer mounted on the halogen headlight indicates fuel, gear and RPM. All factors accommodate to convenient and comfortable ride.
Pros& Cons
Starting with the pros, Yamaha YBZ-DX has a very reasonably engine. One of the quietest in the market. The road grip on this motorbike is fantastic. This and the adjustable suspension make the ride of YBZ-DX super comfortable.
Areas where the bike lags are the not-so-effective disc brakes that lag when applied. The fuel gauge on the speedometer is not accurate. It already has an expensive price tag in it’s category, and maintenance, and spare parts also do not come in cheap.
