KYIV, Ukraine: Ukraine has decided to expand its Visa Services in India wherein it will open new Visa Centers in three of its Cities including Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chandigarh, the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported.

Besides India, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine will also open 15 new Visa Centers in other Countries – one in each Country – across the world.

As per the Consular Service Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the expansion of the network of Ukrainian Visa Centers is part of measures to improve the level of Consular Services for foreigners willing to travel to Ukraine.

With the opening of new Visa Centers, the number of Cities around the globe having Ukrainian Visa Centers will reach 74 from August 2019. Right now, there are 56 Visa Centers in various Cities across the World.

Apart from three Indian Cities, new Ukrainian Visa Centers will be opened in Sydney (Australia), Kabul (Afghanistan), Minsk (Belarus), London (the United Kingdom), Alexandria (Egypt), Tel Aviv (Israel), Doha (Qatar), Mexico City (Mexico), The Hague (Netherlands), Wellington (New Zealand), Muscat (Oman), Ramallah (Palestine), Bangkok (Thailand), Antalya (Turkey), and Paris (France).

The Foreign Ministry continues to implement a set of measures to improve the level of consular services for foreigners who wish to visit our Country (Ukraine),” the Consular Service Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian Visa Centers receive visa applications, render assistance in filling in and registering visa application forms, as well as offer additional services upon request including taking applicants’ photos, translation and making copies of supporting documents, providing medical/travel insurance options, courier services, text messaging, premium lounge services etc.

The Ukrainian Visa Centers provide applicants with pre-decision making services on filing visa applications to Ukraine’s Embassy in a Country. Visa decisions upon every application are made by Ukraine’s Consular Officers only.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
