KYIV, Ukraine: The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Poland are creating a new format of political cooperation in Europe, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“We are creating a new format of political cooperation in Europe involving Ukraine, Britain, and Poland,” Zelensky said while addressing the Verkhovna Rada at an opening of the Seventh Parliamentary Session on Tuesday.
Earlier, the British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said that a tripartite alliance was being considered between Britain, Poland, and Ukraine.
The Head of Ukrainian diplomacy Dmytro Kuleba also told reporters about the active work on creating such an alliance.
On February 1, Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be paying a visit to Ukraine.
